Smurf Weekend!!!

A couple weeks ago Kera called me and asked if I was in need of a smurf weekend...I was definutley in need of this and so she came down to Logan. The purpose of her trip was so that we could go to the Rodney Atkins concert. We had sooooo much fun and I ate soooo much food but we had a TOTAL blast.

It was the first concert i had ever been to and I had so much fun! We acutally new some of his songs and were able to sing along. It was kind of a big deal:) We ofcourse filled our stomachs with some pretty delicious fair food this included teriyaki chicken with ham fried rice, chocolate fudge brownie Reed's Dairy ice cream, sword drinks, bread barn bread, and ofcourse we had to end the night with a oozy goozy caramel apple!!

We also had a fun little ride on the ferris wheel.

Then we had to say goodbye to the fair. See ya next year!!!

We just couldn't end our weekend that quickly so we just kept having TONS more FUN!!!!!She stayed the whole weekend and on Saturday we embarked on an interesting adventure. I died my hair! It isn't a drastic shcange and you probably can't tell any different. There is just a little red tint in it. I was pretty crazy to let Kera die my hair but hey it was fun!!

and the finished product is...

Like I said it isn't a huge difference. But we had sooo much fun. I am so glad that Kera and I have such a great friendship. No matter what we are doing we always have a blast.

School is GREAT!!

Well, I have been meaning to do a new post for quite some time, and even though I should be doing homework right now, I feel like I should share a great little quote with everyone. This semester I am taking a Family Foundations class. In this class we basically study The Prcolmation to the Family. I am really enjoying this class and I am learning so much!! Anyway today I was reading for tomorrow and read this quote.
"When Satan wants to disrupt the work of the Lord, he doesn’t poison the world’s peanut butter supply, thus bringing the Church’s missionary system to its collective knees. He doesn’t send a plague of laryngitis to afflict the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. He doesn’t legislate against green Jell-O or casseroles. When Satan truly wants to disrupt the work of the Lord, he attempts to confuse gender and attacks God’s plan for his Spirit Children.” (Elder M. Russell Ballard, “The Sacred Responsibilities of Parenthood”, BYU Devotional, August 19,. 2003).
I really liked this quote and hope that everyone reading this likes it to! I am amazed everyday when I go to classes and not only learn about that subject but I also learn something new about the gospel. I truly love college here and I am so blessed to be able to come to this amazing university.

Homework Time!

Ok so here is the deal; I was sitting in my room jamming out to some disney tunes, doing science homeword(hence the reason for the random things on my printer), and eating peanuts. Sounds like a pretty great combination huh!! So my great roommate Meghan decides that she is going to video tape me singing. So be ready to laugh your head off. Meghan posted it on her blog and so not the whole ward know who I am and that I like to sing and dance to supercalifragilsticexpealidocious! I decided to post it just so everyone can see how really productive I am at doing homework!! Enjoy!!!

FINALLY...

So I was reading Mary's blog and I looked down at my name and it said that I hadn't posted a new post for TWO MONTHS!! I realized oh my gosh I bet everyone is wondering what is happening in my life because ya know everyone should be wonding:) I wish I could tell you all exciting news that I have found my soul mate or that I have been on more than one date this semester but I can't! But surprisinglyenough I am totally content with my life right now! I am finally understanding why people say that college is alot of fun. So I have decided to write down some things that I have been doing in the last two months.
1. I got home from Kentucky pretty much a month ago! I had the best experience with Bret and Tania and Bethany and Terry! I miss those little kiddos and it totally makes my day when Bethany and Tania put up new posts on there blog. I got to know Bret and Tania so much better and I LOVED getting to know them. And yes I would totally go live with them again!! They thought it was sooooo boring for me but Iloved spending time with them.

2. I have the best roomates in the world!!! Christina is still my room roommate and I have one of the same from the fall and all the rest are new. I have been so lucky to have such amazing roommates! It also great to know that me and Christina are still such great friends. I couldn't imagine college without her:)
3. When I came home I had told my roommates that I was going to run the half marathon with my mom in September. Well, my roommate Meg talked me into running the Teton Dam Marathon with her! We are currently training and it is going very good. She is a person I look up to alot and I'm so glad she asked me to run with her. She pushes me when I want to stop.

4. Me and the same roommate have also given up snacks. It hasn't been a week yet but I have refrained from eating any candy! Yes I feel this a HUGE accomplishment. We will see how long it last though!
5 I am 19!! I had my Birthday May 1 and turned 19 years old. Don't worry Miller told me that I was turnign into an old lady and it made me feel just peachy:) But really I don't feel any different. It was interesting thinking about what my life was like last year. I have changed alot since then and it's crzy how experiences will shape us into new people. We had a party at our apartmetn and it was alot of fun! We went Snipe hunting! Ya I believed everyone. How embarassing!! I don't know how I never got the memo that it wasn't real!

Scrapbooking

When I decided to move here to Kentucky my mom told me I needed to bring my scrapbooking things. I didn't actually think I would do any scapbooking but brought it all just in case. So, Bret set up sometables down stairs so that me and Tania could set up all of our stuff. Well once I started I just couldn't stop!! I ended up doing most of the pictures I brought and then some because my mom sent me some more that I had forgotten! So all in all I got about thrity pages done!! I'm so excited to go home and put them in my book!!! These pictures are of a few of my favorite pages.

Valentines Day

Yes I am posting about Valentine's day and yes I know it is lame but I thought I should post something and this is about all I got.
So on Valentines day Bret and Tania went out to for a romantic evening:) So I watched the kids for them! It was so much fun. We had Macoroni and Cheese and had lots of fun!
So here are some pics of MY valentines!

Kentucky!

Well it has been about a month since I have put any posts on this baby so I finally broke out my camera and took some picures of the little cuties that I get to hang out with every single day! Well my life is pretty much basic I stay at home and help Tania with the girls, take Miller and Dallin to karate and piano, and occasionally go out and do a little shopping. I actually spend alot of time laughing at Dallin. He is the cutest little boy! He comes up with the funniest things sometimes. It's the worst when he says something so funny and Bret and Tania are trying to discipline him but I just have to laugh. I know it's so bad but it's so hard not to laugh at his cuteness!!!
Bret always asks me if I am bored out of my mind but I'm really haven't been bored. I love spending time with this family. I just tell myself that I can't take it for granted because after this I won't see them very much.
Some of the adventures have happened were that I went to a singles ward in Cincinatte. It was pretty interesting. The church is like in this getto area by the college of Cincinnati. Tania was a little worried to leave me alone and I was alot nervous for her to leave me but she did. There were some really nice people there that welcomed me.
So that is what is going on in my life right now. It's pretty great and I am loving it and hopefully I am helping Tania out as much as she needs me to.
Here are some pics that I took today of the little girlies.
