Recently I have been thinking about all of the changes that are about to change in my life! School is coming to an end and that means that rather than my stress level dropping when I don't have to worry about homework I have to worry about the fact that I am leaving everything I have ever know for a year and a half. Scary?? I think YES. So here is an update on the days that I am currently counting down to.
4 days until I go to Jr. Miss in Ashton
9 days til I my state literacy exam
14 days until finals start
28 days til I leave for Indiana and Kentucky (I am SO excited!)
47 days til I speak in church, and it's mother day, So it's extra nerve wracking!
50 days til I enter the MTC!!!! AHHHH my stomach turned over as I wrote that:\
Yep, these are the things that I have to look forward to. These things are slightly scary, yet slightly exciting. This next little while will be filled with preparation for my adventure!

Cachinnation: To laugh loudly or immoderatley
Day 12-What is something that brings you joy.
There are many things in my life that bring me joy; family, friends, french fries, and many others but there is something else. Something that I have been doing a lot lately that I have noticed that I just love it. That thing my friends is laughter! Isn't laughter great?! When you can spice your day up with a little bit of laughter it can make the most mundane day a little more enjoyable. The best laughs are the ones that you throw your head back just let it go. This may cause some odd looks by the people that are sitting next to you, but man does it feel good.
It was in high school when I realized that my laugh was slightly loud, and as one of my friends called it, very BoiSTerOuS! Everyone has there own different laugh. Some people snort when they laugh, others hiss like snakes, some even laugh through there little noses (yes that was a slight quote from Mary Poppins:) The thing about laughing is that it brings joy to the SOUL, it calms the nerves, and makes life a little bit sweeter. Laugh today...it will make you feel better!

Quote of the Day...
"It's not so much how busy you are, but why you are busy. The bee is praised, the mosquito swatted."
This quote was presented in my social studies methods class the other day. It made me stop to think. Most everyday seems like a busy day. I always have an endless list of homework assignments, it never seems to get any smaller. I am sure that this is not something that only happens to me. We are all busy. The question is, how are we busy? Are we making a difference, being productive, or is our busy-ness not really accomplishing anything??
Let's be honest, I am probably the queen of procrastination, even when my list of to do things is ten miles long. But today and each day after this day I will try to be like a busy bee, buzzing around accomplishing things that mean something.

Happiness...
Today I am in an especially happy mood. Why is this? What makes this day any different than any other day?? It could be that I finished my homework for tomorrow yesterday, possibly because my team won 3 out of 5 games at volleyball(not the best but it is an improvement), maybe it is that I attended devotional today and was given a little boost for the rest of the week, or the reason might be because it is a new month and that means new opportunities. In reality I think that all of these things are contributing factors to the happiness that I am feeling today. To all that read this I hope that your day brings you an extra bit of happiness. Take the time to be grateful, see the tender mercies in your life, and make this day a happy day!

F.R.I.E.N.D.S
Day 11-Another picture of you and your friends
A while ago I made a rather special post about the people I like to call my friends. The post was full of friends past and present, people who have impacted my life for the better. However, there were a few special friends of mine who I failed to mention. Now who might these friends be you ask? Well these friends happen to be very close to my heart, literally and figuratively. You see, these people are members of my family who I have come to admire and love very dearly. After countless cousin crafts and some wonderful chats I have found myself some wonderful friends that I will never be separated from, one because they would never want to lose my friendship, AND two because we are family and they have to be with me forever!!!
